Do the Obstacles written by Jude |

As winter approaches, new challenges
begin to fill my daily routine and I feel the amount of frustration rising. What was a pleasant experience a few weeks ago now is filled with anger and frustration. That quick trip to the store for a loaf of bread now begins with thoughts of..."Is there snow piled in front of the ramp and is the driveway surface cleared of snow...if it hasn't been cleared has the ruts made by cars and people walking froze to form mountains". I glance out the window, thinking of the frigid cold and the importance of the loaf of bread fades to thoughts of..."Well.. I think I will get it tomorrow". Glancing out the window at the cold. I notice my neighbor also starring out her window. I call her on the phone to hear her say...Well...I need a loaf of bread.. but I'm not going out there...It can wait until tomorrow. The frustrating feelings that had filled my body moments ago now began to melt away as I chuckled to myself, I wasn't the only one that didn't want to venture out into the cold. You know...there is always tomorrow and left over pizza in the fridge. |
