Los Angeles will host the Special Olympics World Games in 2015. The games is returning to United States after the winter games in Boise, Idaho which was held in 2009. Los Angeles beat fellow-finalist South Africa in a bid process that lasted for a year. The summer games is expected to draw over 7,000 athletes and more than half a million visitors. Los Angeles will be a great stage for the athletes to showcase their talents. The game swill provide the world stage necessary to create awareness and increased acceptance of people with disabilities throughout the nation and the world.
